Last week, after years of procrastination, I finally bought a Canon Extender EF 2x III while I was at the Photography Show. On Friday I took it up to South Park, Oxford and took the iconic Oxford scene shot that I have wanted to take for so many years:

As a photographer in Oxford, it almost feels like a right of passage to take these photos.  I am very pleased with the Canon telephoto converter, attached to my 70-200 f2.8 lens.  I had read mixed reports about how difficult it can be to use but I have to say that my first experience of it is very pleasing.
